MAC-10 spray pattern

In Counter-Strike 2, the MAC-10 climbs almost straight up for the first 6 rounds, drifts left, swings right, sweeps back left, then kicks right on the last rounds. Here's the shape, the numbers, and how to control it — then drill it into muscle memory on SprayTrace.

Your mouse path — start on the crosshair and follow it down. The bullets climb the opposite way; this is the movement that cancels them.

How to control it

Controlling the MAC-10 spray

  1. Pull down to cancel the climb. The MAC-10 rises about 8.3° over its first burst — drag straight down to keep the crosshair on target as it climbs.
  2. Counter each swing in turn. The pattern swings 5.5° across and changes direction 3 times — move against it: right, then left, then right, then left.
  3. Reset between bursts. Recoil fully resets after about 0.30s off the trigger — tap-fire or burst at range, spray up close.
  4. Drill it to muscle memory. At 800 RPM a full 30-round spray plays out in ~2.25s. Trace it in SprayTrace at 20% speed, then ramp to full, then go Blind.
